Questions to ask my self:
- Is my turkish learning so far efficient?
- How can I improve?
- Should I do any change?
- What is the next plan?
To be honest, what I have done is not very efficient for 2 reasons: 1. no language environment, 2. no learning guides. So what I can do so far is by trial and error, which could be very slow.
For now, I plan to stick with learnturkish101.com. Finish the tutorial till advanced level, then start to memorize words again. Then add intensive reading/listening activities.
Possible way to improve:
- memorize words: not now. Already have enough vocabulary for now. This is the bottleneck
- Intensive reading/listening: maybe helpful
- Translation Turkish->English: have done so.
- Translation English->Turkish: could be demanding
- a little diary? Problem: no correction, maybe later.
Plan starting this week:
- 5 mins word
- 5 mins culture learning
- 10 mins lessons
- 10 mins translation
For the next 2 weeks, translation T->E, after that 4 weeks E->T.
Estimate again after one and half months.
